Research Interests
Joseph Devaney, PhD, received his PhD in analytical chemistry from the American University. He has an interest in developing new technologies for genotyping and SNP discovery. Currently, Dr. Devaney is applying this work to the discovery of the molecular genetic causes of muscle hypertrophy. In addition, he works on uncovering the genetic factors that affect coronary heart disease in collaboration with Washington Hospital Center.
